hmm... nice but few complains

i liked it... but.. the start is alittle too dry for my taste... when the pluck like thing kicks in it really sounds neat.. however id have done the cord progression a little different.. it went straigt from sad-ish to just strange in progresion. could be an error in the delay... <--- thats just my opinion.... overall it sounds pretty good. i never herd any music from the Aphex Twins (or the others you mentioned), but i've seen the name before in some reviews of my own tracks... i might look it up

this is beyond epic

i onl have one complain... the short section of strings at 1:30 kinda stood out... id like it better with some more real sounding strings.. well anywho this song is just.... just... well.. not just... theres simply too much to compliment on...

listening to the music i was like.... "umm... 8?" n then i started reading what u had written to it.. n i jumped to a 10 instantly.. but since the points has to be a combo of everything it ended on 9.. the track itself is pretty good.. only a little on mastringss and i dont really dig the drums for the start.. but when i read ur text i see myself in your place.. without even trying... becaus that is excaktly what id have done.. i once just sat at my computer a whole night and when i saw the sun ricing outside, i headed to bed.. but then i first really noticed this epic epic sunrise... i ran outside in underware n just stood looking at that for like 40-50 minuts. in the middle of the street. at 4-5AM in like 14 degrees celcious.. it was wonderful. (dont worry.. everyone except for me was asleep at the time)

well then i read on in your text and i come to the part about the naming and i cant agree more.. ive been like that most of my life and somewat still is. but i feal the cold beauty of snow more then i feal the "sadness of an empty, happy shell" so.. sorry i couldnt make it reach all the way to 10.. your pretty damn close though.

in the intro the bass and that little strange sound almost plays with the rythm.. it sounds waaay cool. and the rest kinda just flows in, swirl arround and then flows out again bieng replaced with something else... its epic ^^... it has that sound as some older platform computergames would have (not the mario kinda old.. more the jazz jackrabit kinda old).. also always with that damn catchy mellody...

well that aside, nice track you made there man, i somewat feal that its a little boring and tha the sections are too short and alike.. but well it is a prison afterall eh? the masterings are pretty good. id say a tad more bass... but well i cant really get enugh bass aslong it doesnt ruin the rest xD (personal isue...)

Thanks for the review! Actually this song isn't that RAM-intensive. To use East/West, you need a minimum of 2 GB of RAM, and I have 3.25 GB, yet in more thick orchestrations such as Land of Kings, East/West sticks like hell. As for adding more bass, sure, that Double Bass is a bit quiet anyway ^^.

hmm.. not a lot to say

if i really HAD to point something out then itll only be based on my taste.. not the track in general.. so well here it is lol.. i feal a little like some of the instruments could use a more pure or light sound.. like if it got a little boost in the top end of the EQ during the midder section..... but thats just my taste lol. even if u had actual mistakes in this id still give u a 5/5 10/10 becaus i just love the way u wrote this mellody and progression

the title of this review kinda explains this tracks quality.

apparently youve ben more than usual zerobombed. ill visit here some times a week for some months. just to give it a 5 vote.. voting power of 4.99 might atleast give you an additional 0.02 points or something. with all those votes alredy on this that will take time to reatch the deserved point number.. if it ever will.

hmm. good..

feals like the track is a lil underpowered. normaly i can feal the bass in the floor when im listening to hard genras like u use here but its like the deeper bass tones are missing. theres a bass in the brek 2:50 that uses a bass which i the only bass i cn spot in this track that goesa ll the way down. but also that i had to turn the sub all the way up to to hear it.. i get that the kick maybe isnt meant to be hard. but still would want a deep bassline to keep the rythm solid even for deaf people lol. except for my own needs for hard rythms then i think this is awesome. i like the way u get the lyricks into it and so on. my only complain is the over all bass.

underpowered/overpowered. It's just what you want to hear. I'm not sure I want it more powered, because I'll like it less. :P Overall lacking of bass, is true, but I'm not sure how to fix it... yet.
